Indie Rose popped up on my IG as she was closing down her business. I was very intrigued by the oils and all the glowing reviews so ended up getting 3x Aurelias. However, I only gave it 4 stars because as much as Aurelia oils are nice, I actually feel very disappointed with IR with their marketing and felt as if I was being lied to. You see, initially I was going to get 2x Ananda and 2x Aurelia, but silly me...I left it too late and Ananda became sold out. I was gutted and really blamed myself because I remember one of her posts that said something along the line of - 'Once they're gone, they're gone'...as in implying there would not be any more restock or reproduction. Anyway, I moved on and tried to learn the lesson. But a couple of weeks later, when IR popped up again on my IG, I decided to check their website, and LO AND BEHOLD...Ananda was restocked!!! I was very disappointed and felt deceived because obviously that 'once they're gone, they're gone' post was a lie! Had I known it would be available again, I would definitely be making a different purchase. I have messaged IR on her IG, but received no reply. But whatever! Again, I have moved on. Like I said, Aurelia is nice...but I wouldn't say it's as otherworldly or insane as what some reviews portrayed it to be. As much as the smell is nice, I find it to be way too subtle. I was expecting and picturing a stronger smell that would last longer on my face and neck where I could catch a whiff of it as I move along my day or night , but I can't even smell anything anymore after the application. But oh well...Lesson learned: Don't trust everything you see on social media! LOL
